Graduate student Roya Kabiri, PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics and alumni of the Iranian languages group, has been awarded the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Fellowship for Excellence in Persian Studies for Fall 2021 - Spring 2022! The fellowship will support her dissertation work, which aims to develop a dependency parser for informal spoken Persian.
