The bi-annual North American Conference on Iranian Linguistics is the only linguistics conference focusing exclusively on the languages of the Iranian language family in the country. Works accepted and presented at the conference explore the grammatical systems of the languages in the family, which exhibits some of the most fascinating linguistic variation at every level of linguistic analysis, ranging from phonology to morphosyntax and semantics.
Information about NACIL 1 & 2 are available here. NACIL 3 will be hosted by the Department of Linguistics at the University of California in Los Angeles in 2023, subject to the public health situation and prevailing restrictions in California caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will post more information once available.
